Tunisia-Hammamet: occupancy rate of 92% in hotels

The regional tourism delegate of Yassmine-Hammamet, Khaled Klouaïa, revealed that the region has registered very encouraging figures between August 1 and 10, 2022.

He told Mosaique FM, that the number of tourists who visited the city reached to 35 thousand, a boost of 39% compared to the same period in 2021.

He added that the number of nights is 148 thousand, an increase of 104%. As for the occupancy rate of hotels, it rose from 49% in 2021 to 92% this year.

Khaled Klouaïa likewise pointed out that Tunisians represent the majority of tourists.
