Tunisia-Harissa enters intangible heritage of UNESCO

The famous Tunisian  Harissa is officially listed as an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO.

Through this inscription, UNESCO recognizes the knowledge and know-how of an ancestral culinary and social practice in Tunisia.

This is what the organization revealed on Thursday, December 1, 2022, in a tweet. UNESCO has been examining several candidates since Monday, including those of the French baguette and the Algerian Rai.
