Tunisia-Hasna Ben Slimane:Organizing work in the private sector is not our responsibility

Minister to the Head of Government in charge of the Civil Service Hasna Ben Slimane addressed the criticism directed at exceptional measures adopted by Prime minister Mechichi government to fight COVID-19 and didn’t cover the private sector.

To this regard, Mrs Ben Slimane affirmed that regulating work in the private is not under her department responsibility, adding that sector knows it condiction better.

“We regulate work in the public sector, and it is not within our power to regulate work in it, and no discrimination has occurred”, she told Shems FM

The same source stressed workers in the public sector weren’t given additional rights, adding that the request was granted by the supervisory authority at the request of the health authorities to reduce the absorptive capacity inside the means of transport.
