The former director of National Television, Hassan Akrout, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022, the Ministry of Cultural Affairs declared in a press release.
During his lifetime, Hassen Akrout took several duties, including the direction of National Television in its early days as well as that of the Tunisian Society for Cinematographic Production and Expansion (Satpec) from 1979 to 1986.
The deceased was the first to present the Technicolor process in the field of cinema.
He has greatly contributed to the development of cinematographic cooperation between Tunisia and several other countries.
