Tunisia- Hassouna Nasfi: Kais Saied’s speech is that of the Ettahrir party

Remarking on the last speech of the President of the Republic, in which he asserted to be the supreme commander of the military and security armed forces, MP Hassouna Nasfi estimated that it is not a simple conflict between Ennahdha and Kais Saied as we would like to believe.

According to Nasfi, it is a serious dispute of powers between different state structures, claiming that Kais Saied’s speech is that of the Ettahrir party, highlighting for this purpose the similar way of praying.

The MP felt that Kais Saied has become a threat to the unity of the state and is overtaken by time, calling on him to adopt a clearer speech and present legislative initiatives for the parliament to be forced to initiate concrete reformations.
