Tunisia – Hatem Mziou: towards the launch of a national initiative to save the country

Bâtonnier of lawyers Hatem Mziou has disclosed today that professionals in the sector will begin protest movements required to reject the new 2023 finance law.

He confirmed that fiscal disobedience could be among the climbing measures that will be announced.

Mziou stated that the Association of Lawyers has made consultations with liberal professions organizations as well as other organizations including the UGTT to launch a national initiative in order to rescue the country following a participatory and collaborative approach.

He believed that the 2023 finance law threatens stability in the country warning against a social explosion and rejecting the new finance law 2023.
