Tunisia-Haykel Mekki: Legal quorum for motion of censure against Ghannouchi is nearly reached

Democratic bloc MP Haykel Mekki addressed the motion of no confidence against house speaker Rached Ghannouchi,

 

Speaking on the airwaves of radio, Mekki explained that the initiative is on the right path, remarking that the number of signatures has nearly reached the legal quorum.

 

According to the MP, some Ennahdha MPs do not support Rached Ghannouchi’s presence as head of parliament. He asked Qalb Tounes MPs to take responsibility, indicating that some parliamentary representatives affiliated with Qalb Tounes will respond favourably to the initiative in question.
