Tunisia-Health ministry warns of fake news and information

The health ministry informed that related information related to developments of the coronavirus pandemic is only published on the ministry official Facebook page.
In a press release, they warned of circulating news promoted on false pages which are attributed to its official or responsible among them is Director of the National Observatory of New and Emerging Diseases Nissaf Ben Alaya whereby a Facebook account was created to promote rumours and misinformation to mislead public opinion in this delicate health situation.

Legal procedures will be taken against everyone proved to be involved in the subject matter.
