The Criminal Chamber of the Tunis Court of First Instance specialised in terrorist crimes deferred the hearing in Mohamed Brahmi assassination case till February 21, 2020, announced lawyer and member of the Defense group Imene Guezara.
Guezara said the Chamber reacted positively to the petitions presented by the defence team, particularly entree to telephone records of the main defendant Boubaker Al-Hakim – the terrorist shot down in Syria – as well as tapes of communications through post stations of mobile phones in the vicinity of Brahmi’s house.
The 5th Criminal Chamber also denied a request to free Riadh Ouertani, the only defendant who appeared on Tuesday.
