Tunisia-Hechmi Louzir: “Tunisia will receive 2 million doses of coronavirus vaccines by September”

The head of the steering committee of the national vaccination campaign, Hechmi Louzir, announced on Tuesday that the available stock of vaccines in the central pharmacy is estimated at 2.3 million. Tunisia will get around 2 million doses of additional vaccines by September, he adds.
Louzir stated this amount is split between 1.050 million doses of Pfizer vaccine, 620 thousand doses of AstraZeneca, and approximately 160 thousand doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Additionally, 4 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine and 325,000 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will also arrive in Tunisia during the period from October to the end of December, he stated.
