Commenting on Ennahdha statement in which its congratulated Hichem Mechichi on his mandate to form the new government and calling for calm and dialogue, President of the democratic current bloc Hichem Ajbouni asserted that the party will pay the price for its action.
Ajbouni estimated, in a post on his Facebook page, that the Ennahdha movement “will pay the price for its manoeuvres and tactics from its Sheikh, for playing with fire and striking the stability of the country”.
He said the first coronation will be on Thursday, that is, the day before the Eid Al Adha holiday where the parliament is holding a plenary session for withdrawal of confidence in Rached Ghannouchi.
Ajbouni recalled that it was Ennahdha who brought down the government of Elyès Fakhfekh by running since its adoption to wait for him “at the corner of the street” by bringing the country into the unknown when its faces the most serious health, economic and social crisis in its history.
