Tunisia- Hichem Ajbouni: Hichem Mechichi had promised to mobilize private clinics

Democrat bloc MP Hichem Ajbouni today called for a general 3-week lockdown throughout Tunisia to cut the chains of transmission. He also stated that the lockdown needs to be accompanied by economic and social measures for it to be implemented by citizens.

Ajbouni, in the same vein, recalled that prime minister Hichem Mechichi had vowed to mobilize private clinics to support public health efforts in the fight against the coronavirus, calling for the requisition of private clinics in this sensitive period.

He further felt that Mechichi had left the Minister of Health alone to confront the pandemic.
