Prime minister Hichem Mechichi, responded on, Saturday, February 27, 2021, to the demonstrations organized simultaneously by the Ennahdha movement and the workers’ party.
Speaking to Mosaique FM, the PM affirmed that freedom of expression is a guaranteed right for everyone. “We are a nation where freedom of expression is guaranteed (…) everyone has the right to express their ideas in the way they consider appropriate while upholding the safety rules of course,” he said.
He displayed his hope to find a solution to the political crisis to concentrate on the concerns of Tunisians and meet their expectations.
