Tunisia-High influx of Algerian tourists in border posts of Jendouba

The border crossing of Melloula, Tabarka delegation (Jendouba governorate), observed a strong influx of Algerian tourists, with the arrival of 7000 tourists, affirmed Jendouba Regional Tourism Commissioner   Issa Marouani.

143 thousand tourists arrived in the Tunisian territory since January 2019 until today, up more than 33.8 % compared to 2018.

One million and 200 thousand Algerian tourists are expected to arrive through the border crossings of Babbouche ,Melloula, and Al Jalil in Ghardimaou.
