Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Head of the Strategic Health Operations Center at the Ministry of Health Dr. Hinda Shabi, remarked that the Ministry annually activates a plan to prevent high temperatures during the summer, as it has several effects on human health, particularly children, the elderly, and pregnant women.
The doctor added that it is essential to follow a set of recommendations, such as avoiding going out and being exposed to sunlight between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm.
Shabi also called on individuals whose work requires being outside to take intermittent periods of rest.
