House speaker Ibrahim Bouderbala, and his Algerian counterpart, Ibrahim Bou Ghali, inked today, Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the headquarters of the National People’s Assembly in Algeria, a framework protocol for parliamentary cooperation between the two houses.
In a statement by the Algerian National People’s Assembly that it was agreed, according to this document, to exchange parliamentary delegations and legal documents and texts in force in both nations, as well as to organize symposia, training courses and joint lectures, in addition to having regular meetings between the presidents of the two councils or delegations partaking in various forums.
The document likewise stipulated the regular exchange of views on major issues on the international scene, while encouraging the two friendship groups to exchange experiences on best practices in administrative, technical and financial management.
