Tunisia-Icon singer Naama passes away

Tunisia legendary singer Naama passed away today, Sunday, October 18, 2020, after a struggle from an illness at the age of 86.

Born in February 1934, Naâma – née Halima Echeikh – was a very popular Tunisian artist, with a rich musical repertoire of more than 500 songs and poems, Naâma was the muse of several renowned composers including Ridha Kalaï, Ali Riahi, Mohamed Triki etc.

On this painful occasion, Tunisie Numérique family extends its deepest condolences to her family, wishing the dear Almighty to inspire them with patience and solace. We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.
