Ennahdha Member Imed Hammami has manifested solidarity with President Kais Saied, who he says is attempting to end the paralysis that state structures have been enduring for some time. The Parliament has demonstrated its inability to solve the problems of Tunisians, he added, insisting that even when he decided to extend the state of emergency, the President of the Republic used expressions and concepts drawn from article 80 of the constitution.
“We must help Kais Saied not to go beyond the constitutional framework,” he added. He additionally emphasised that for several years, Rached Ghannouchi has used a certain despotism within the party, believing that the activists of Ennahdha deserve better leadership.
