Tunisia-Imed Hammami: Political Islam is over… The future is no longer for Islamist parties

Former Ennahdha member Imed Hammami said this Tuesday, June 7, 2022, that political Islam is over and that it no longer has any future in Tunisia. Hammami revealed during his intervention on a private radio that “In Tunisia, Islam is not in danger…It is time to make efforts for the interest of the nation, more specifically at the level of economic and social affairs (…) The future is no longer for Islamist parties in Tunisia…” he confirmed. Moreover, he did not fail to recall his total support for the Head of State Kais Saied.
