Tunisia-Increase in budgets allocated to these ministries

According to the 2021 state budget bill which will soon be submitted to the finance committee of the parliament, the budget allocated to the number of ministries will increase.

Indeed, the budget of the presidency of the republic will increase from 140 to 169 million dinars while that of the presidency of the government will increase by 10 million dinars for a total budget of 207 million dinars. On the other hand, the budget of the parliament will suffer a slight decrease of one million dinars (42.9 million).

Below are the budgets allocated to the Ministries of Education, Interior, Defense, Health, Social Affairs, Cultural Affairs, Higher Education and Agriculture.

  • The Ministry of Education: from 6479 to 6728 million dinars
  • The Interior Ministry: from 3745 to 3927 million dinars
  • The Ministry of Defense: from 3218 to 3440 million dinars
  • The Ministry of Health: from 2544 to 2885 million dinars
  • The Ministry of Social Affairs: from 1631 to 1765 million dinars
  • The Ministry of Social Affairs: from 341 to 358 million dinars.
  • The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research: from 1762 to 1828 million dinars.
  • The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Scientific Resources: from 1760 to 1780 million dinars.
