Tunisia’s revenues from the export of dates rose by 19.1%, at the end of March 2024 (the sixth month since the beginning of the 2023/2024 agricultural campaign), to reach 674.6 million dinars, compared to the same period of the last campaign, according to what the National Observatory of Agriculture confirmed in its monthly bulletin issued Thursday.
According to the same source, the quantities of dates exported grew by 13.9 percent, to reach 107.2 thousand tons.
The average export price, during the first six months of the current campaign, improved by 4.5 percent, or 6.29 dinars/kg, compared to 6.02 dinars/kg during the same period. of the 2022/2023 campaign.
Total revenues from exports of organic date products from 01/11/2023 to 02/29/2024 were estimated at 50.5 million dinars.
