Tunisia: Inflation picks up in May

Inflation continued to speed up in May in Tunisia to reach 7.8% after attaining 7.5% in April, 7.2% in March, 7% in February and 6.7% in January, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
 
The institute clarified this climb by the constant price changes in housing, water, gas, electricity and other fuels group (7.3% against 5% in April) and the prices of furniture, household items and routine household maintenance group. (8.4% against 7.4% in April).
