Tunisia-Inflation rate climbs to 8.6%

The inflation rate attained 8.6% in August 2022, the National Statistics Institute (INS) revealed.

According to the same source, this progression is clarified especially by speeding up the rate of the price of food products (11.9% against 11% in July), prices of the furniture group, household items and common houses ( 11.3% against 10.6% in July) and prices for teaching products and services (10% against 9.8% in July).

Remember that the inflation rate reached 8.2% in July, 8.1% in June and 7.8% in May.
