Tunisia – Inspections in discos and nightclubs in Gammarth

Units affiliated with the El Gorjani Judicial Police Directorate conducted in coordination with the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of Tunis, yesterday, Friday, April 20, 2024, a series of searches which involved famous nightclubs in the Gammarth region, in the northern suburbs of the capital.

All units and formations affiliated with the Judicial Police Directorate of El Gorjani, and under the oversight of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, moved yesterday evening to the Gammarth region, in the northern suburbs of the capital, where three nightclubs and discos were subjected to the required inspections and intensive surveillance, and several excesses were carried out, such as the employment of Africans from sub-Saharan countries, without respecting the applicable provisions, as well as several other offences.

After carrying out the necessary inspections, several reports were drawn up regarding the recorded violations, inside the three nightclubs and clubs included in the series of searches.
