Tunisia-Integrity and Competence: Kais Saied’s criteria for banking appointments

President of the Tunisian Republic, Kais Saied, met Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Carthage Palace with Sihem Boughdiri Nemsia, Minister of Finance. During this interview, the president underscored the significance of quickly filling vacant positions at the head of several banks.

Kais Saied insisted that appointments to these positions must be founded first and foremost on integrity, while also taking into account the competence and experience of the candidates.
