Tunisia – Investigation into the waste of 300,000 doses of rabies vaccine

The Minister of Agriculture has directed the inspection of the ministry to conduct an inquiry into the misuse of 300,000 doses of rabies vaccine, received as a donation from the World Organization for Animal Health, since October of Last year.

It turned out that the veterinary health services in Tunisia did not bother to utilise them, although their expiry date is programmed for next December. Confronted with this huge mess, the minister ordered an investigation to determine those responsible.
