The Independent High Authority for Election (ISIE) revealed that 891 application files, including 117 belonging to women, were filed, from October 17 to 23, for the 2022 legislative elections, planned for December 17.
These applications will be reviewed before the deadline of October 31, in accordance with the schedule relating to the legislative elections.
As a reminder, the ISIE disclosed, on October 5, that the submission of applications for the legislative elections is set from October 17 at 8:00 a.m. to October 24 at 6 p.m.
The list of nominees will be displayed at the ISIE headquarters and posted on its website no later than November 1, according to the body.
December 16 will be the day of electoral silence and December 17 on election day. The preliminary results will be declared between December 18 and 20, while the announcement of the final results is scheduled for January 19, 2023, after examining the appeals.
