Tunisia-Italy offers 1.5 million vaccines to Tunisia

 President Kaïs Saïed, his chief of cabinet Nadia Akecha and the Italian Ambassador to Tunisia, Mr Lorenzo Vanara, attended in person the reception of 1.5 million doses of vaccine offered by Italy.

The head of the state estimated that this aid can only consolidate the relationships of solidarity and cooperation between the two nations through this gesture of support to the Tunisian people.

He likewise announced that the protection of rights and freedoms, as well as the establishment of security and stability, are his goals par excellence.

The President of the Republic further evoked Tunisia’s position concerning illegal migration and the crime of human trafficking, while warning against any try to political exploitation of this case.
