Tunisia-Jaffel speaks with the 1st president of the Court of Cassation

The performance of justice and the work of the Court of Cassation were at the heart of a meeting between the Minister of Justice, Leïla Jaffel and the first president of the Court of Cassation, Moncef Kchaou and the Attorney General at the Court of Cassation, Féthi Aroum.

During the interview, emphasis was placed on the necessity to improve the effectiveness of justice and the quality of public services given to citizens, according to a press release from the Ministry of Justice.

The meeting was further the occasion to emphasise the imperative to proceed, promptly, to the reformation of the judicial system and to strengthen the efficiency of the justice system.

Efficiency, quality and independence are crucial for an effective justice system, they stressed.
