Tunisia-Jalila Ben Khelil: positivity rate of PCR tests could increase

Speaking today on private radio, member of the scientific committee for the fight against Covid-19 Jalila Ben Khelil addressed the epidemiological situation in the country.

Ben Khelil conveyed that the positivity rate for PCR tests could raise. As for the number of infections with the new variant of the Coronavirus “Omicron”, Ben Khalil said that the scientific authorities do not have the required means to carry out the operations of the genomic sequencing.

She spoke, in the same context, on the national vaccination campaign indicating that the scientific committee is studying the mechanisms for vaccinating children.
