In a statement Tunisie Numérique, professor of constitutional law and coordinator of the movement “Citizens against the coup” confirmed that the President of the Republic, Kais Saied employs judicial power to settle his political scores.
He added that the decree issued by the Head of State relating to the dissolution of the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSM) is “void” and “illegal”. Ben Mbarek also explained that this protest comes in support of the magistrates targeted by Kais Saied.
