Tunisia-Japanese donation of $ 1 million to fight Coronavirus

Japan has donated $ 1 million to assist Tunisia in its efforts to fight the Coronavirus, the government presidency declared on Tuesday, April 27, 2021.

Japanese Ambassador to Tunisia, Shinsuke Shimizu, repeated his country’s predisposition to support Tunisia negotiations with international donors, during his meeting with prime minister Hichem Mechichi.

The two parties further examined the means of consolidating bilateral cooperation relations between Tokyo and Tunis, in particular in these times of pandemic.
