In response to the substantial rainfall observed in the North-West governorates in the past 24 hours, the Jendouba regional civil protection directorate issued a warning urging citizens to exercise caution. In a report by Tunisie Numérique’s correspondent in the region, the directorate called on the public to avoid unnecessary risks while driving, to stay clear of watercourses, refrain from attempting to cross rivers, and steer clear of areas where rainwater accumulates.
The report also emphasized the importance of not touching electrical poles during and after rainfall for safety reasons.
