Tunisia-Jendouba :Extension of general lockdown measures

The Regional Committee for Disaster Control held today July 14, 2021, a meeting under the direction of the Governor of Jendouba and members of the Committee, during which the following precautionary measures were adopted:

 

  • Continuation of the application of the previous general lockdown measures from July 16, 2021, to July 31, 2021.
  • Resumption of business in cafes and restaurants until 4:00 p.m. from Friday, July 16, 2021, with a ban on consumption on the spot, lifting chairs and tables and application of sanitary protocols.
  • Opening mosques and places of worship during the three daily prayers (noon and sunset prayers, and ban to perform Friday and Eid prayers until further notice while respecting the ” application of the health protocol (closing the ablutions room, bringing a personal mat, wearing protective masks, physical distancing during prayer, and 50% of the reception capacity, and respecting the programs curfew).
  • Curfew hours persevered from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Restrict the capacity of commercial spaces to 30%, while respecting health protocols, and renew monitoring in order to enforce all measures and decisions, with the immediate closure of the store or establishment in the event of a violation.
  • Organize the workflow of public services and apply the procedure for a third of staff and agents, according to the press release from the Presidency of the Government published on June 30, 2021.
  • Proceed with the work of the Information and Awareness Committee, under the surveillance of the Regional Commission for Youth and Sports, to make citizens aware of the gravity of the epidemiological situation and encourage them to enrol for the EVAX vaccination platform.
  • Invite citizens, owners of institutions and businessmen to assist the donation fund set up under the custody of the president of the regional union of industry and commerce of Jendouba to deal with this pandemic.
