Tunisia-Jihan Turki: “Super Tunisian is successful work that exceeds hidden camera” [Video]

Journalist Jihan al-Turki, who specializes in cultural affairs, presented her insights on Tunisian Ramadan programming for the season today, Thursday, March 21, 2024. She voiced special interest in the “Super Tunisian” series, citing her previous attendance when it was screened as a movie in theatres.

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Turki stressed the series’ success in captivating the Tunisian audience and leading viewership rates, especially during Iftar time. This period is important as Tunisian families come together, often seeking entertaining comedies to enjoy.

Turki mentioned that “The Hidden Camera,” aired on either the First National Channel or “Telfaza TV,” did not exceed the “Super Tunisian” series in terms of quality. She pointed out that the series features several prominent stars, such as Kamal Touati, Naima Al-Jani, and Karim Al-Gharbi, each contributing uniquely to the show. Turki particularly commended Karim Al-Gharbi’s performance, labelling him as the surprise of Ramadan 2024 in the acting domain.
