Tunisia – Joe Biden to send official invitation to Kaïs Saïed

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Othmane Jerandi welcomed, on Monday, Chargée d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Tunisi Natacha Franceschi.

During the meeting, the official notified Jerandi of the USA’s intention to organize a forum on American-African relations.

The “Africa Leaders Summit”, will be held from December 13 to 15, 2022 in Washington, and will be chaired by Joe Biden.

A summit that will examine the future of relations between the USA and the African continent, particularly in the post-pandemic period.

Franceschi added that Tunisian President Kaïs Saïed will receive an official invitation to partake in this summit.
