Tunisia-Jordan’s King Abdullah II meets interim President Mohamed Ennaceur, extends condolences

Tunisia‘s interim President Mohamed Ennaceur received Jordanian King Abdullah II, during his visit King Abdulla extended his profound condolences over President Beji Caid Essebsi‘s passing to first lady Chadlia Saïda Farhat and the family of the late president.

King Abdullah II hailed the late president as a dear countryman who respectfully dedicated his honorable life to service the people of Tunisia and the Arab cause. Moreover, he universally praised the late president‘s outstanding contribution to the development of Tunisia in various fields. King Abdullah II positively affirmed that Jordan would  stand with Tunisia. The Royal Hashemite Court mourned the death of the Tunisian president by promptly declaring three days of mourning with flags being half-mast.
