Tunisia-Judges’ strike prolonged

The coordination of judicial structures, on Saturday, decided to extend the judges’ strike for an additional week and suspend the work of the whole judicial, administrative, financial and judicial institutions, starting Monday, June 27.

The coordination revealed that it would continue the strike “to oppose the lack of interaction of the Presidency of the Republic and the Ministry of Justice with the movements of magistrates and the deepening crisis, and the failure to reverse the presidential order No. 516 related to the dismissal of 57 judges and the cancellation of Decree No. 35.
