Tunisia-Justice officer assaulted by judge: reason for the assault

The National Union of Agents and Executives of Justice said that a judge had assailed yesterday a worker in the Court of Appeal of Medenine because the latter had declined to assist him to get files out of his car.

A version that was confirmed by a statement given by the first president of the Court of Appeal of Medenine Hassan Ben Hassan who added that the worker in question was the victim of physical and verbal violence going as far as tearing his shirt.

Hassan Ben Hassan emphasised that going out to bring back a judge’s case is not part of the workers’ duties, adding that it is a “difference of views” that could have been solved otherwise.
