Tunisia – Kairouan: Imam sacked because of his support for teachers

An Imam officiating in a mosque in Menzel Mhiri, near the governorate of Kairouan, reported that he had been sacked by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, because of his support for teachers during his last sermon.

He pointed out to have he addressed this subject in his sermon, because it was the current issue, and he wanted to report their misery. He specified in his sermon that the teacher is the one who educated the minister, as well as the President of the Republic.
