Tunisia- Kais Saied calls for strengthening security and the fight against crime

President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, stressed during his meeting with the Minister of Interior, Kamal Elfekih, the Director General of National Security, Mourad Saidane, and the Director General of the National Guard, Houssine El Gharbi, the significance of strengthening vigilance and national security in Tunisia. He likewise encouraged close cooperation between the security forces and the armed forces to guarantee the stability of the country.

The president also hailed the commitment of citizens to contribute to the preservation of national security. He voiced his appreciation for the sense of responsibility shown by citizens towards the security of Tunisia.

The Head of State urged intensifying security patrols across the country to fight crime, particularly in light of recent successful security operations carried out by law enforcement agencies. These operations seek to track down criminals and maintain peace throughout the country.
