Tunisia-Kais Saied calls on ministers to ensure compliance and enforcement of law

President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, received yesterday Monday, August 28, 2023, at Carthage Palace, Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani, according to a press release published by the Presidency of the Republic.

The action of the government was at the centre of this meeting, during which the Head of State insisted on the necessity for each official to assume full responsibility for his actions in the event of a breach of his obligations and duties.

In this sense, Kais Saied expects ministers of Hachani government to scrupulously secure respect and application of the law and to work to clean up the administration of all those who have infiltrated it.

In addition, the President called for the continuation of operations battling against monopolization, illegal speculation and soaring prices.
