Tunisia-Kais Saied: “I sometimes intervene to restore access to water and electricity”

The president of the republic, Kaïs Saïed, chaired a meeting of the National Security Council on Monday during which he raised several issues related to the country’s security.

Guaranteeing the continuity of public services such as access to water and electricity was among the points raised during this meeting.

The head of state lamented frequent power and water cuts in certain regions. He called on the services involved to act urgently to put an end to these disruptions.

“I am intervening to restore access to water and electricity in certain regions,” declared the President of the Republic.
