Tunisia-Kais Saied meets his Egyptian counterpart in Riyadh

President Kais Saied had, Friday, December 9, 2022, in Riyadh, a meeting with his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fattah El-Sissi, concentrated in particular on questions raised at the China-Arab summit, including the energy transition and collaboration With international financial institutions, including the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Othman Jerandi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians abroad, told the TAP agency, that the two heads of state examined”cooperation with international financial institutions to get out of the period crisis “and agreed on” the necessity to unite the efforts, particularly in times of crisis “.

This meeting was also a chance for the two presidents to discuss a certain number of files related to cooperation between the two countries, and to reaffirm the common desire to diversify its areas.

They also agreed to intensify consultation and coordination in the service of the two brothers.
