President of the Republic examined the situation of Tunisair in a meeting with Sara Zaafrani Zanzari, Minister of Equipment and Housing and interim minister for Transport.
“Tunisair was a source of pride for Tunisia at the international level. Nevertheless, the quality of its services has gradually declined, requiring urgent intervention to revitalize it and restore its splendour,” said Kais Saied.
The Head of State highlighted that the decline of the situation of Tunisair is not restricted to the corruption that rages there and the illegal appointments that it has experienced since 2011. “Its ultimate goal is its privatization”, adds the President of the Republic.
Kais Saied also insisted that there will be no privatization, neither for land services nor for air services.
