Tunisia-Kaïs Saïed receives Algerian Minister of Interior

 President of the republic Kais Saied welcomed at Carthage Palace Algerian Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and National Planning Brahim Merad, special envoy of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune

The Algerian minister was carrying a handwritten letter from President Tebboune to President Saied, inviting him to participate in the 31st Summit of the League of Arab States, planned for November 1 and 2 in Algiers.

The head of the state Saied said he was honoured by this invitation and confirmed his willingness to respond favourably.

He voiced his confidence in the ability of Algeria to provide the best conditions for the success of this summit at all levels, and to define a new framework to set visions that would react to the expectations of the peoples of the region, and would unite the Arab countries and reinforce the mechanisms of action common to the light of the fast changes in which the world faces.

For his part, the Algerian Minister asserted that his country is confident in the effective contribution of Tunisia to the accomplishment of the expected goals of this summit and to the consecration of the tradition of coordination and consultation on the points and subjects which will be addressed In order to make this Arabic summit a success and pave the way of a better future for the peoples of the region.

The meeting likewise  discussed the excellent relations between Tunisia and Algeria in various fields.
