Tunisia – Kaïs Saïed responds dryly to the press release of the G7 ambassadors

The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, confirmed that Tunisia can rely on its own means and that it has all the means it ought to meet the expectations of the people.
He added that “we are going to write another story, distinct from the others, where we will live with dignity, and no longer under alliances or submission. He explained: “We accept joint aid and cooperation in all fields, though not when it does not respect the will of the Tunisian people”.
A straightforward and dry response to the last press release from the G7 ambassadors in Tunis, in which they conditioned the aid from their countries, for Tunisia, by the return of the elected institutions, namely the parliament, and by the presentation of a calendar clear of the steps to come, to secure this return.
