According to a statement by the Elysee Palace, Tunisian President Kais Saïed declared in a telephone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron that the new government will be formed in the upcoming days and that a national dialogue would be launched soon.
Saïed reemphasised his attachment to the rule of law, while Macron reiterated his wish that Tunisia is able to react quickly to all the challenges it was facing. He further called for the establishment of a dialogue, associating the different components of the Tunisian population, on the institutional reforms envisioned by the Tunisian president.
