Tunisia-Kasserine : 13 municipal councillors in Foussana resign over Semolina

Thirteen members of the municipal council of Foussana in Kasserine have collectively submitted their resignation.

Resigned councillor Najia Khelifi attributed their act due to the mayor and his monopoly on decisions and not dealing sternly with the file of a robbery that happened in the municipality.

She clarified that the mayor contributed to the distribution of semolina with favouritism and also allowed one of the municipal councillors to assemble the semolina inside his house, which prompted the resignation.
