Tunisia – Kasserine: Citizens demonstrate in support of the sacked governor

Several citizens, supported by representatives of civil society in Kasserine, as well as by governorate staff and taxi owners, manifested on Tuesday afternoon in front of the governorate headquarters to denounce the dismissal of the governor. Mohamed Samcha, following the intervention of the municipality of Sbeitla to demolish a kiosk, during which a man died, and the protests which followed.

These protesters asserted that the sacked governor spared no effort during his mission in Kasserine to promote regional development and help improve the lives of citizens.
